I spent maybe 10 hours a while back looking into this format. It turned out to be a waste of time then because another tool already handled the format. However, that tool fails on some images in the recent SkyFish games.

Soo... I finished writing the half-completed tool and here we go.

Updated: Now also works with EVE X newgeneration.
Updated: Now supports new compression type and doesn't rely on an executable to unscramble anymore. It seemed a lot more complicated 2 years ago. :)
Updated: Added fixipgyu for the event images in いちゃぷり. Run it from the res/g directory against ../../rld/def.rld.

Updated: Fixed a problem with some images ... not sure why I wrote it that way originally, so I kept the original version as gyu2bmp_old.exe. Let me know if you actually need to use that on old games.
